Successful projects
To date, AfriCoast Energy has delivered three successful projects under the Department of Energy’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers Procurement Programme.
They have also assisted numerous other developers with first-of-a-kind projects, such as:
- Pioneering embedded generation with the installation of the Coega turbine and numerous rooftop and ground mounted PV installations.
- Worked with Amatola Green Power to facilitate the pioneering of embedded generation and energy trading in South Africa. This innovative trading model has included a ground-breaking agreement with the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality in the Eastern Cape.
